While there is plenty of fun to have across the Myrtle Beach area this Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples’ Day weekend, Oct. 9–12, it’s a smart time to be weather-aware.
Hurricane Isaias is expected to bring rain across the Southeast, including coastal South Carolina, particularly late Saturday into Sunday, with potentially hazardous ocean conditions and possible tidal flooding.
Visit our weather and water conditions page and check the National Weather Service for current forecasts and advisories. Follow posted beach flags and local guidance, review our water safety tips and never drive through flooded roads.
